Job Summary
The Yard Jockey, Cold Storage is responsible for the movement and repositioning of trailers within the RLS yard.
Responsibilities
Operate equipment in accordance with company safety policies
Safely and accurately reposition trailers within the yard and into appropriate doors
Check and fill yard truck fluids
Perform preventive maintenance on yard truck
Attain predetermined performance metrics as outlined by the Warehouse Manager
Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor; teamwork is essential
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Ability to drive a semi tractor trailer
License/Certification:
CDL Class A
Travel Requirements:
None
Physical Requirements:
Work outside in all four seasons
In and out of tractor constantly
